MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric certificate/ equivalent
Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
Project Management qualification (PMP) or equivalent will be advantageous
3-5 years of related experience
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Computer Literacy
Proficiency in project management software tools
Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
Underground Trackless Development Experience
NEC 3 Contracts Experience
Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
Contract execution
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement projects on time and within budget
Ensure there is feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization's overall business strategy
Managing the project's scope and resources
Estimating time and financial commitment
Assign Project team tasks and deadlines
Coordinate all required tools to collaborate
Review status updates to chart Project team progress
Manage revenue, budget and margin
Support and direct the project team
Lead quality assurance
Ensure project is progressing as planned
Constantly measure the plan and compare those metrics against the plan created
Collect status reports from the project team to see if the actual progress of the project is meeting what was initially planned
Monitor any changes on the plan and adjust or reallocate resources to accommodate these changes
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Evaluate and assess result of project
Prepare reports for the team
Prepare reports for stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
Ensure documentation, along with all paperwork, must be collected, signed off and archived by the end of a project, which provides history that can be revisited when planning for a similar project in the future.
