Our client, a highly successful mining consultancy, is seeking a Principal level mining engineer, to play a pivotal role in their ongoing success, by providing quality consulting services to their clients as well as mentoring a growing Senior and Consultant level team.

This well regarded and respected mining consultancy has been operating for over 15 years and has demonstrated an unwavering desire to grow, whilst still maintaining a family friendly, values based organisation where people are respected for who they are.

Due to continued growth in their business, they are now seeking to appoint a technically superior principal level mining engineer. Reporting to the General Manager - U/G, your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver quality consulting solutions to our clients, across mine design, scheduling, and feasibility studies
• Provide an oversight on the quality of the work prepared by the junior & senior consultants
• Help mentor and develop the capability of the U/G consulting team.

This is a pivotal role in the business and will appeal to those people from a substantial operations background who are keen to develop their careers along a technical studies and consulting pathway. As a minimum, you will possess 10+ years U/G mining experience across a number of operations and/or commodities and be a high level user of a mine design or scheduling packages like Deswik or Mine 2-4D.
