WorkPac are recruiting for NPI Project Engineers to join Rio Tinto's Facilities team based the Perth Airport Operations Centre. The successful applicants will work on projects from small scale up to ~$20M in value from inception though to close out.

About The Role
WorkPac are recruiting for NPI Project Engineers to join Rio Tinto's Facilities team based the Perth Airport Operations Centre. The successful applicants will work on projects from small scale up to ~$20M in value from inception though to close out.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide project engineering support to NPI projects from concept through to close out.
- Assist with idea generation, options analysis, consulting and design management.
- Obtain funding approvals and provide commercial support for projects.
- Take project ownership during construction phases (as owners rep).
- Maintain a high level of stakeholder engagement, guiding projects through the project lifecycle and assist in handover.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in engineering.
- Strong background in NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure) project construction experience.
- Effective facilitation and influencing skills with strong business acumen.
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Good listening and communications skills.
- Planning and coordination skills with an ability to cope with pressure.
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills.
- Team player and able to collaborate well with others.
