Description

A Senior International Tax Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and review of various international tax aspects of federal and state income tax compliance and information reporting. Additionally, the position will assist with calculations of U.S. income tax impacts from foreign operations for multiple years on an annual and quarterly basis.
  • Preparation and coordination of the U.S. income tax and information reporting filings related to foreign companies within the worldwide group of companies, including forms 5471, 8865, 8858, and other applicable forms.
  • Calculation, documentation and reporting of foreign tax credits and foreign income inclusions, including GILTI, Subpart F income, sourcing of income and deductions, allocation and apportionment of expenses, and completion of form 1118.
  • Assist with the preparation of U.S. income tax impacts of foreign operations to be used in quarterly financial statements and multi-year forecasts.
  • Assist with completing annual transfer pricing documentation and OECD BEPS reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of information reporting filings related to transactions between the U.S. companies within the group and non-resident persons, including research, analysis and calculations to ensure that income tax withholding and reporting requirements timely fulfilled.
  • Assist with research and development of tax-saving strategies.
  • Perform tax research and prepare technical tax memorandums.
  • Maintain internal controls related to international tax and ensure that adherence to the internal controls is properly documented.
  • Provide support for various tax related projects as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications

Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, and at least four (4) years of experience in Tax and/or Accounting; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as an Accountant for a Big 4 public accounting firm
  • Experience preparing corporate income tax returns.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Tax.
  • Experience using Corptax software application.
  • Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams & Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP and HFM accounting applications
  • Experience with use of BNA, RIA, CCH and/or other tax and accounting research tools.
  • Certified Public Accountant


Criteria/Conditions

  • Position is in a busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment with each floor accessible by elevator.
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Some international travel may be required.
