About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking Pit Controllers to join the Rio team for an initial 6-month contract based at the Operations Centre, Perth Domestic Airport. Working roster; 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 12.5-hour shifts. You will remotely support on-site mining operations by using fleet management software to coordinate the dispatch of mining equipment.

Duties include:
- Real time dispatching of mining equipment and personnel to ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensuring the Fleet Management System is used to its full capacity
- Prioritising between conflicting demands
- Meeting and exceeding production and delivery targets
- Liaising with mine schedulers, maintenance personnel and other stakeholders
- WA C Class Manual Drivers Licence- Minimum
- Unlimited Rights to work in Australia
- Experience with Fleet Management Systems
- Experience controlling large fleets in a mine/dispatch control role
- Previous RTIO experience an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Able to follow procedures and protocols whilst seeking improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and computer skills
