Supervisors Administration & Communication

Work Location: Chichester Hub

Roster: 4D/3R - FIFO ex Perth

This position is responsible for providing quality administrative and organisational support to the General Manager Chichester Operations this will include professional delivery of Chichester Hub communication and event activities. Working in a busy and dynamic environment, the successful candidate will also be required to manage competing priorities and have the ability to positively interact with a variety of stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include:
  • Provide professional, efficient and confidential administrative support, including extensive diary management, travel logistics and visas
  • Support the creation, preparation and distribution of emails, reports, technical documents, contacts and presentations for internal and external use
  • Optimise and automate processes and policies to support efficient Project delivery, and wider business objectives
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and presentations for Board, Core Leadership Team and Projects Leadership team
  • Coordinate internal and external planning days and various team functions throughout the calendar year
  • Directly manage a shared services Administrative team.
  • Working closely with the internal communications team you will ensure Chichester Hub communications are aligned with the greater Fortescue brand.
  • Coordinator and/or support significant announcements and events
  • Support other internal communications projects and priorities as required at a site level.

Qualifications and skills required:
  • Substantial experience in either administration/Personal Assistant/Communications
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to work autonomously and be effective in managing competing deadlines
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to write engaging content for internal communications channels as required
  • Experience in contributing as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to build and manage constructive working relationships
  • Appropriate management confidential information
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet challenging timelines with competing priorities and stakeholders
