About our client

Our Client Whitehaven is looking for a Bench Hand to commence work in the Gunnedah Basin. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 10.5 hour shifts, assisting the Drill and Blast Crew.
Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor, you will be required to:

• Operate a Domestic Water Cart
  
• Operate an IT Loader
  
• Dipping & baiting holes
  
• Assist Drill & Blast team on bench floor
  

This position will include manual labour and working outside in the elements.

Skills & Experience

• Drill & Blast knowledge or Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  
• Unsupervised Handling Licence (UHL) (or willingness to obtain)
  
• HR Drivers Licence ESSENTIAL
  
• Must be able to supply a Police Check and Driving Record
  
• Dangerous Goods Licence
  
• Ability to complete a Pre Employment Medical and D&A Test
