About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking experienced laboratory Operators for roles in the Pilbara.
4/5:5/4:5/5 Roster
12.5-hour shifts
Day Shift/Night Shift
Residential to Karratha and Dampier - No FIFO on offer
Physically fit
Good working attitude
This is a highly physical role that requires manual handling and repetitive lifting, often in hot extreme conditions , which should be considered by candidates before applying.
Skills and Experience:
Sample collection, sample prep, crushing, splitting, chem. Physical and chemical analysis, TGA, fusion, XRF equipment. Data entry and analysis
Experience as a Laboratory Operator in a mining environment - Highly desirable
Experience with computers systems such as Starlims, SAP, FDMS, TIKS, SuperQ and ChemAlert-- Highly preferred
Technical and analytical experience in flux fusion, Leco TGA, XRF, robotic sampling with Herzog equipment, manual sample preparation using RSD?s (Rotary Sample Dividers), Rocklabs crusher/splitter,
moisture and sizings analysis -- Highly preferred
Current Australian 'C' class driver licence - Essential
SAP Experience (preferred)
