Truck Maintenance Supervisor
Work Location: Christmas Creek
Roster: 2:1 FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking applications from motivated and experienced Supervisor Truck Fleet Field to join our Christmas Creek maintenance team. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the maintenance team in order to ensure availability and reliability of the heavy mobile truck fleet. Specifically this will include the planning, organising, supervision and control of the maintenance personnel ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Key accountabilities will include:
- Coordinating and overseeing all weekly and daily in workshop and field truck maintenance requirements
- Implementing and ensuring best practice maintenance procedures are carried out by all staff
- Ensuring full statutory and safety compliance of the all maintenance activities, with the strong implementation of HSE /OHS daily safe work practices
- Assisting in recruitment as required and the ongoing development and mentoring of the team
- Ensuring maximum availability is achieved and equipment is well maintained, clean and fit for purpose
- Driving the team to achieve or exceed budget availability and safety performance
Qualifications and skills required:
- Trade qualified as a Heavy Duty Fitter/ Technician
- Experience and broad knowledge of maintenance and repair of a variety of Electric and Mechanical trucks including Caterpillar 793F, Caterpillar 794 and Komatsu 930E
- Able to effectively communicate with fellow employees and suppliers
- Demonstrated leadership capability and previous experience working in a Supervisory position
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies to achieve operational plans
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office with SAP & BMS experience preferred
