Job Summary

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy equipment and haul trucks in support of the mining effort at the mine.

Responsibilities

•Safe operation of heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, back hoes, motor graders, water trucks, excavators, drills and haul trucks to meet production targets

•Conduct pre-operation walk-around safety and complete the daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities

•Maintain equipment in good operating condition.

•Report and logging maintenance requirements or concerns

•Complete production reporting and other documentation as required

•Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members

•Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Requirements

•Comprehend, comply with, promote and support Rawhide Mining safety policies and procedures

•A minimum of 2 years' documented and proficient experience in the operation of heavy equipment preferred

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Must be willing to train new/inexperienced employees

•Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies

•Must be able to sit for long periods
