As an Electrician you will be responsible for assisting in the generation of specifications, engineering, designing, scoping, costing and quoting of solutions. You will also provide technical solutions, primarily with electrical, air-conditioning, mechanical and facilities assets.

With business growth and success, we have a great opportunity for an Electrician to join our team. This is an integral role to support growth across Automation and the wider Downer NZ business.

A bit about your role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team based in Taupo. In the role, you will provide services including construction, installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of existing and new installations. It is essential that you are an experienced Electrician with preference in Industrial or Water and Waste Water industries and can offer:

• Qualified Electrician - Industrial experience highly desirable
• Current and full NZ Practicing Electrical Licence
• Committed to ensuring electrical compliance is maintained and documented
• Knowledge of PLC programming, software modifications, VSD's, Instrumentation and fault finding on the above
• Excellent communication and commitment to team goals
• Self-motivated, energetic, proactive and results-orientated
• Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
• High level of computer literacy
• Ability to plan jobs, operate and maintain equipment
