About Our Client
Our client is a Leader in Precast Concrete Products based in the Ipswich region. We are currently seeking Labourers/Production workers with very basic welding experience for immediate starts and ongoing work. The successful candidate will be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.
About the Role
You will be an experienced labourer with the ability to commence immediately in an ongoing role. This opportunity is working a minimum 8 hours a day, on day shift Monday - Friday with the occasional weekends required. The ideal candidate will have their White/Blue card and able to pass a PEM as well as a Drug & Alcohol screen prior to commencing. You will have a background in Construction, Concreting and ideally have some experience with Formwork.
Duties & Responsibilities

• MIG welding
  
• TACK welding
  
• Shovelling, sweeping & cleaning
  
• Utilising hand/power tools regularly
  
• Manual lifting and carrying materials
  
• Meeting strict safety standards
  
• Working apart of a team
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  
• Experience in construction and welding
  
• Hold a current Australian driver's license, White / Blue Card
  
• Availability for an immediate start
  
• Fit & Healthy, able to safely complete manual lifting tasks
  

Ticket that are highly desirable however NOT mandatory

• High Risk Work Licence - Forklift or Crane tickets highly desirable (but not required)
