ABOUT CLIENT
Our client is Australia's largest coal miner and exporter, the world's largest supplier to the sea borne coking coal market and largest coal producer and supplier of metallurgical coal. The client has several mine sites across the Bowen Basin consisting primarily of open cut mines.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Maintenance Diesel Fitter at a mine near Moranbah working a 6 on 6 off rotating roster with a bus provided from Mackay & Rockhampton. The successful candidate will possess a Diesel Fitter trade qualification, experience in maintenance and diagnostics of dozers, graders and wheel dozers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Servicing equipment as scheduled
- Carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance
- Diagnosing machinery faults and repairing as necessary
- CAT OEM experience would be an advantage
- Experience with forklift and overhead crane desirable
- Commitment to safety
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Diesel Fitter Trade Qualification
- Minimum 6 months mine site experience
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11
- Driver???s License
- Training Transcript/ RII
- Minimum 6 months experience
