Position summary
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer for works in Adelaide. You will be the senior leader for the project team and support the project delivery by ensuring budgetary and programming schedules are met in accordance with contract conditions.
ABOUT THE ROLE

• Monitor the Project Plan and record progress against the program.
• Resolve engineering issues as they arise
• Assist in management of delivery interfaces
• Support, monitor and review all aspects of the design review process.
• Coordinate procurement for the designated work area
• Negotiate subcontract/supply packages
• Undertake subcontract management and administration
• Manage the planning, daily costings, monitoring, measuring and reporting of progress and cost
• Manage budgets and create accurate forecasts as the scope of work owner

ABOUT YOU
You are an effective leader who provides coaching and mentoring to your team. You will have:

• A Civil Engineering or Construction degree
• Strong engineering experience within the Rail Industry, with a good understanding of network access, general rail systems with multi-disciplinary approach
• Manage the planning, daily costings, monitoring, measuring and reporting of progress and cost
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
• Ability to effectively prioritise and manage assigned workload
• Effective team player
