Reporting to the Superintendent Site Service and working in a collaborative community, you can expect to learn:
  • Planning and scheduling functionality for building and facilities maintenance services such as fire systems, carpentry, electrical and plumbing;
  • How to deliver a regular schedule for all maintenance work groups employees and contractors;
  • Ensuring that labour and equipment capacity is fully utilised;
  • Weekly metrics for resource utilisation and asset utilisation;
  • Identifying and planning critical maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability;
  • Reporting on key metrics as well as applying the 5 guiding principles of Lean for business improvement.

What you'll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team;
  • WA Current C Class Manual Driver's License;
  • Good communicator and very structured in daily activities;
  • Critical thinker and being able to make best decisions based on information available;
  • Strong Ms Office (Excel) and Ms Projects skills;
  • Willingness to learn and have right behaviour;
  • Team based engagement essential;
  • Capable of operating in a fast paced and dynamic working environment with the ability to multi-task priorities.

Where you'll be working

Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
