Position summary
Transport Projects, a division of Downer's Australian Operations Business continues to secure further projects as we build on our reputation of meeting and delivering on Australia's major Transport Infrastructure needs.

As Transport Projects enters a critical growth phase and transitions into a major player in its field in WA, excellent career opportunities are now available to help influence and shape the business. We currently have multiple long-term maintenance contracts and large-scale construction projects on the go placing us in a very good position moving into the future.

Due to this planned expansion we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Rail Project Engineer to join our progressive Transport Infrastructure team to help build sustainable, long lasting infrastructure solutions across Western Australia. If you have the expertise and attitude to drive us through this critical growth phase we would love to hear from you.

This role operates on a life style friendly 8-6 roster (flying both days in the companies time), working on a variety of Rail and Rail corridor projects with a great team around you. This work is ongoing and long term - 5 years + and offers opportunity to step up into SPE/Delivery Manager opportunities in the future for the right candidate, with the right approach & attitude.
ABOUT YOU

• Have a passion for delivering a superior service for our customers and the communities that we operate in;
• Demonstrated capability in Civil Construction with exposure to major rail infrastructure projects;
• Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 major Rail contractor desirable but not essential;
• Degree qualifications or an equivalent in your relevant field or work.
