Job description
Construction Supervisor
Our client requires an experienced Site Construction Supervisor. You will ideally come from a Mechanical/piping/Structural supervisor background with extensive experience in Construction management in Industry and associated works. Your will be responsible for overseeing the installation of Mechanical, piping and Civil/structural installation, as well as maintain site safety. You will also Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance to code and safety regulations and Co-ordinate construction aspect of projects from the tender phase, through to handover.

Construction Supervisor
- $79.69 per hour flat rate plus super
- Monday to Saturday, Day shift 12 hr days
- Based in Gladstone. Must have own accommodation
Our client requires an experienced Site Construction Supervisor. You will ideally come from a Mechanical/piping/Structural supervisor background with extensive experience in Construction management in Industry and associated works. Your will be responsible for overseeing the installation of Mechanical, piping and Civil/structural installation, as well as maintain site safety. You will also Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance to code and safety regulations and Co-ordinate construction aspect of projects from the tender phase, through to handover.
Skills/Experience
- Prior Mechanical / piping site supervisor experience
- Ideally experience with Installation, Building specifications and development.
- Safety management
- Estimating experience
- Demonstrated experience supervising contractors for Mechanical/piping/structural works, ensuring projects are delivers within budget, quality and time constraints.
- Monitoring and consulting with Engineers, consultants and trade workers to ensure works are completed within designated time frames.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Manage supervisors, labourers and subcontractors
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Manage weekly construction meetings with the site supervisors.
- Preferably Heavy industry construction building experience
- Qualifications in Building & Construction
- Trade background
- A working knowledge of Construction industry
- Experience working with Structural Steel and Pre-cast concrete installation
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
