About the Role
This is a project level position; the successful person will be technically proficient at interpreting and re-drafting contracts.

Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to:-
  • Supplier management, including ongoing relationship management
  • Undertake assessment of existing contracts and make necessary changes and recommendations
  • Assisting Business Units with procurement related queries
  • Contribute and support the manager within strategic initiatives
  • Proactively engage in future projects which needs input from procurement & Vendor/supplier contracts area. Strategic supplier pricing to assist RFQ
  • Analyze key market data, statistics and reports to help deepen the understanding of cost drivers, industry dynamics, market trends, and best practices
  • Re drafting of contracts
  • Analyse and advise on legal implications of contracts
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have the following: -
  • A background in strategic procurement, contract law,
  • Ability to interpret and re-write supply contracts to suit a contractor management platform
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced skills with the Windows environment including use of the MS Office suite of products and ideally SAP or an equivalent ERP;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate business practices and commercial regulations;
  • Ability to grasp Commercial Law and Business requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts to ensure that Business Units are correctly calling off contracts.
  • The ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment including cross-functional teams as well as with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to conduct and manage Supplier Relationships.
