Position summary
Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology and Communications service solutions and offers integrated civil construction, wireless, electrical, solar, fibre, copper and radio network deployment capability. We are now seeking Expressions of Interest from Project Support Managers that will be required for up and coming projects throughout 2021 in QLD, NSW, WA, SA and VIC.
As the Project Support Manager you will report to the project manager and be responsible for the preparation of detailed project programs and baseline schedules on time and in consultation with the project team. You will deal effectively and appropriately with subcontractors and team members to obtain and ensure that schedules and planned works deadlines are met.

ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrable and successful project/operations management experience
- Proven ability in proactively building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound technical understanding of Telecommunications markets and forms of contract
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications Pit & Pipe Network
- A sound understanding and working knowledge of fibreoptic networks
- Preparation of contract financial summaries, commercial & monthly reports
- Ability to manage contract performance & implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent unforeseen margin adjustments
- Proven leader of people and Zero Harm practices
