Position summary
Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology and Communications service solutions and offers integrated civil construction, wireless, electrical, fibre, copper and radio network deployment capability. We are now seeking Expressions of Interest from Project Accountants that will be required for up and coming projects throughout 2021 in QLD, NSW, WA, SA and VIC.

As the Project Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage and maintain the financial integrity of the project contract whilst partnering with the business to provide accurate financial and non-financial reports to the Project Directors.

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or post graduate qualifications preferred
• Demonstrable and successful financial/project accounting experience/capability in a similar business environment
• Demonstrated financial and commercial acumen
• Ability to develop and maintain financial forecasts and reporting and communicate successfully to the business for decision making purposes
• Preparation of business plans budgets, review and management of financial information.
