Position summary
Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology and Communications service solutions and offers integrated civil construction, wireless, electrical, solar, fibre, copper and radio network deployment capability. We are now seeking Expressions of Interest from Customer Liaison Representatives that will be required for up and coming projects throughout 2021 in QLD, NSW, WA, SA and VIC.

Customer Liaison Representatives support the Program Manager and the Regional Team by carrying out the notifications and approvals processes with property owners and body corporate to achieve project milestones. Monitoring and maintaining delivery targets are key functions and regulatory adherence and process compliance is an essential part of this role.

ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in strata and body corporate relations with a commercial / technically oriented tertiary qualification
  • An understanding of the Telecommunication Act, Low Impact (Facilities) Determination, telecommunications codes of practice and associated consultation frameworks would be extremely beneficial
  • Experience in dealing with strata and body corporates, and property owners is strongly desirable
  • Knowledge of title search processes and related property ownership enquiries
  • Able to exercise sound commercial judgment while working within company procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to deal with and/or negotiate with building owners, bodies corporates and other building owner representatives
  • Demonstrates initiative and ownership for decisions and business outcomes, including budgets and performance targets
  • Well-developed computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel essential.
