  • Reputable Company based in South Hedland
  • Fixed Term 6 month contract
  • 12th April - 11th October

This role will predominately involve Procurement and Purchasing for a reputable company based in South Hedland. Monday to Friday 40 hour weeks.

The successful candidates will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in contract development and/or contract management OR relevant project management experience
  • Good written communication skills, with the ability to prepare procurement and technical documents
  • Demonstrated research, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • High level administration support, maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a multidisciplinary team
  • Be well organised and have the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to take minutes accurately and exceptional time management

You will be required to:
  • Assist the Regional Procurement and Contract Manager in the provision of a range of support services related to the Department's procurement and contract management functions.
  • Prepare procurement and contract documentation in accordance with the business rules and policy requirements.
  • Provide advice to staff on routine procurement planning, contract development and contract management, including contract renewal and extension strategies.
  • Support the Regional Procurement and Contract Manager in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department's procurement policies, systems, processes and governance controls.
