Overview / Responsibilities

Wood currently has an opportunity for a Senior Contracts Administrator at our Mining & Minerals office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role reports to the Senior Manager, SCM and will have you working alongside other team members within the office and from various project sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue project specific contract documents (i.e requests for proposals, tender etc.) in line with project scope and schedule requirements
  • Monitor and update the Contracts Status Plan
  • Implement the administration of contracts which are of mid to high value with minimal supervision
  • Make recommendations to Senior Manager with respect to exceptions to the Terms and Conditions
  • Understand the different interfaces between disciplines in the administration of contracts
  • Develop and maintain construction progress activities utilizing our Project Management System
  • Identify contract matters which will adversely affect the cost of the program
  • Post contract administration activities (i.e. payment certification, daily timesheet review)


Skills / Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in EPCM environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent English language communication skills, written, oral and presentation
  • Positively maintain relationships with suppliers, clients, and other disciplines
  • Convero experience considered an asset
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
