Position summary
Downer VIC Pipelines team are seeking to build an additional crew to meet the increased volume of work for our Yarra Valley Water contract. To help facilitate the new crew, we require an experienced Excavator Operator/Site Worker to operate machinery and undertake labour tasks. This permanent full time position will be based in Bayswater, Melbourne and report to the Operations Supervisor.
Works are generally Monday to Friday with the occasional night or weekend shift, you will be delivering multiple water main renewal projects in to meet the expectations and standards of both Yarra Valley Water and Downer.

ABOUT YOU
- Experienced and hold current competency as an Excavator Operator within the construction, plumbing or water industry.
- Industry Induction Card (White Card), current Drivers Licence, a certificate in first aid including CPR and a Class B Absestos removal ticket.
- Hold current competency in at least one of the following areas - Electrofusion welding, Plastek, Trenching & Shoring, Spotter, Dogman, Excavator, Backhoe, Flexibore, Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence
- Hold additional competency in at least one of the following areas - PE Butt welding, 20 Ton excavator, Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence, Heavy Combination (HC)
