Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Dozer Operator for it's Clayton, CA aggregate quarry operation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
- Safety
- At the start of the shift perform a pre-shift inspection.
- At the end of the shift park dozer and report defects to supervisor.
- Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and company regulations.
- Report unsafe conditions.
- Report accidents or incidents immediately.
- Operations
- Drive the dozer in successive passes over terrain to raise or lower terrain to proper grade.
- Strips the high walls in preparation for blasts as well as drags the high walls after a blast.
- Level out crusher area, stock piles and maintain roadways as required.
- Scrape and level for loader.
- Assist in greasing, cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on equipment.
- Maintain constant communication with all other operators.
- Assist other operators or maintenance personnel when heavy or awkward duties are required.
- Will work multiple shifts as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Prefer high school diploma or general education (GED)
- Prefer five years front end loader experience
- Prefer dozer, backhoe and skid steer experience
- Prefer working knowledge of equipment operation and open pit miningMust be able to carry 50 pounds
