The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a position on Lihir Island, PNG. Reporting directly to the Manager - Asset Management, the purpose of this role is to lead the Fixed Plant Maintenance Business Analyst function and support the success of the FPM Asset Management department, through financial, business, system, and problem-solving support and insight using detailed analytics, valuation and data interrogation.

Essential criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce specialising in Finance, Accounting or similar desirable with accreditation from CPA PNG
  • 5+ years relevant work experience essential with experience in Business Analyst roles in large heavy industrial, mining and/or processing environments.
  • Previous experience in business improvement activities with strong budgeting and cost control.
  • Experience in company wide and departmental ERP systems including SAP and TM1 (Planning and Analytics)
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training


Requirements:
  • Open to PNG nationals only
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
  • Must have proof of a completed Police Clearance within the last 6 months
