Our client is a WA based gold mining and exploration company. On their behalf, MPi is currently seeking a Graduate/Junior Geologist for this contract to permanent opportunity.

This role will be offered as a FIFO position from Perth and you will form an important part of the on site geology team.

The role will encompass:

• Standard underground responsibilities like mapping the mining face
• Sampling and providing direction to underground drilling rigs
• Core logging

The successful candidate will be physically fit and must be able to work independently as well as in a team.

To be considered y ou must:

• Have previous core logging experience or a good understanding of Australian gold mineralisation systems
• Be physically fit and healthy
• Hold a current WA driver's licence
• Be able to provide a cleared medical & drug/alcohol screen
• Provide an up to date CV with contactable referees and certificates.
