Description

Member of team responsible for the overall performance, availability, and security of desktop/mobility infrastructure solutions. Analyze technologies, recommend, and perform upgrades/changes based on assessments of the organization's current and future desktop/mobility needs.

  • Ensure a thorough analysis of system service results, and respond to any escalated service delivery issues
  • Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed
  • Review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered; proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered; and use metrics to improve processes
  • Design system solutions and create implementation and support models for technology encompassing a specific specialization or platform
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the Information Services, which includes four (4) years of experience with desktop systems technologies
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure design and support concepts


Preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Experience with device management focused on overall health (BIOS, Drivers, Firmware, ...) using automation
  • Experience using PowerShell and scripting for device management
  • Experience managing Group Policy device and user policy configuration
  • Experience in security compliance
  • Ability to create operational and troubleshooting run-books
  • Microsoft Certification a plus



Criteria/Conditions

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
  • Must be accessible 24/7 for emergency customer service issues
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator
  • Must be able to frequently, sit, stand, and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds
