About the role

We are looking for a Principal Advisor CSP, Minerals to work closely with the sites and CSP teams and CSP area of expertise to guide the CSP practice across multiple operations in the Minerals Product Group. This includes providing technical advice, supporting capability development to ultimately deliver on the CSP strategies.

This role is a great opportunity for a CSP expert to support the establishment and execution of CSP initiatives in support of Minerals sites.

Working and reporting to the General Manager CSP, Minerals
  • Provide technical guidance to support the implementation of CSP strategies,
  • Support the CSP compliance at site level, audit readiness and action follow up
  • Oversee the systems implementations, tracking and CSP targets reporting to site, Product group, group
  • Strengthen site CSP discipline on documentation and follow-up incidents and complaints
  • Provide strategic and technical advice, engaging the support of the technical CSP Area of Excellence team members as required
  • Support the strategic stakeholder engagement and partnerships
  • Advise on socio-economic baseline and impact assessment studies.

What you'll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Tertiary qualifications in related discipline
  • Progressive experience in CSP, with direct operational and/or field experience and rising into a regional or global function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in communities and social performance, including diverse and complex cultural and community challenges
  • International experience, will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting and delivering strategies, and ability to drive technical excellence in CSP in regional and asset teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and assuring communities and social performance standards and systems
  • Experience working in the mining & metals / extractive sectors, an asset
  • Languages skills: English. Knowledge of French will be highly regarded.
  • Multi-jurisdictional experience
