About the role
We are currently seeking experienced Mining Geologists for projects in the Pilbara and Yilgarn regions working an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Reporting through to our onsite Leadership team, this role will hold accountability for the undertaking and supervision of daily activities across the project. Your primary responsibility will be to manage daily site geological activities in conjunction with production and planning operation teams and mentoring pit technicians.

What we're after
- Pit sampling, ore mark ups and ore spotting
- Database management and data entry
- Manage production and stockpile tracking
- EOM reporting and reconciliations
- Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
- Provide support to Mining Team to optimise ore extraction
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to effectively communicate geological and grade requirements
- Identify areas that have the potential for development and/or improvement
What you'll bring to the team
- Hold tertiary qualification in geology or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience working in an open cut mining environment, in a similar position
- Iron ore exposure will be highly advantageous
- Highly developed communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment or independently
- Proficient with Surpac, Acquire and other related software
- WA C Class Drivers Licence
