About your role

In the role of Analyst you will be responsible for providing financial support across our Indigenous Supplier Contracts within the Rio Tinto Iron Ore business unit. This is a full-time permanent role based in a modern office in Central Park, Perth.

You will enjoy collaborating with a range of stakeholders and have a strong power BI reporting skillset to accompany your financial technical skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Delivering business intelligence through information gathering, data interpretation / insights and ad hoc reporting using BI tools
  • Assist in month end and quarterly payments process
  • Provide advice and support to various stakeholder groups as the Finance SME
  • Liaise with internal and external business stakeholders including the CFO, indigenous supplier groups, site SME's and leadership groups and the Communities team
  • Provide additional support where required to the broader team
  • Liaise with external auditors

What you'll bring

Tertiary qualified you will have a track record or delivering financial business partnering within a large complex organisation. Exceptional Excel skills and working knowledge of an Enterprise system such as SAP. Power BI reporting skills are highly desirable. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups to drive a culture of collaboration and improvement is essential. You will be detail focused, process driven and able to work independently with a self-starter attitude. You thrive on solving business problems and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. Above all you enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
