Position summary
Downer Water Services South is currently undertaking long term program of works for Sydney Water. These construction projects include water and wastewater pipelines and pump stations, and network management technologies.
With numerous Water and wastewater projects underway, Downer team is currently seeking a Site Engineer to provide support to the delivery team in a fulltime permanent capacity. Working from Seven Hills office and reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer will be assisting the Project Engineer/Project Manager in preconstruction, construction and post construction stages of project.

- Plan and initiate site documentation prior to the commencement of works
- Coordinate and supervise work, activities of multiple crews
- Monitor and control expenditure on jobs to ensure the cost-effective completion of projects
- Initiate handover documentation, including review of drawings for submission to client for final sign off
- Experience in Construction projects (water desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Great interpersonal skills
