Our people division is growing, and we are looking for Maintenance Administration Technician at our Goldrush operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work management, equipment reliability, maintenance cost, performance management, and promoting a team environment between mobile maintenance and other work groups
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors and vendors
  • Establishing work relationships necessary to efficiently execute the daily maintenance activities through his/her assigned zone
  • Provide support to the Maintenance Department by entering all relevant technical data from completed work orders into SAP eAM to ensure accurate and high quality historical information is captured
  • Primary functions include read, interpret and input data from work orders, vendor reports, and other sources and transfer into SAP eAM via manual entry and/or scanning of documents
  • Assist Planners with BOM updates
  • Create requisitions for parts and services on behalf of the Planners
  • Generate work orders based on the highlighted items noted on the work orders by the Maintenance group
  • Print orders from the weekly schedule
  • Field time may be required to participate in FET
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  • Prior office administration experiencepreferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work unsupervised, and understand/follow work standards and procedures required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and contribute to the success of the Maintenance Improvement team required
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, SAP and PowerPoint, and printer operation required
  • Familiarity with eAM (Oracle, SAP, JDE, etc)preferred
  • Demonstrate good safety leadership through Courageous Leadership and proved safe work record required

About Nevada Gold Mines

Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture between Barrick Gold Corporation (61.5%) and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation (38.5%), combining their significant assets across Nevada to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world and realize the full potential of these mines through synergies and best-in-class operational improvements.

The massive mining operation comprises 8 mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities that produced an estimated 4 million ounces of gold in 2018. Three of these assets are Tier One gold mines: Barrick's Cortez; the combination of Barrick's Goldstrike and Newmont Goldcorp's Carlin; and the combination of Barrick's Turquoise Ridge and Newmont Goldcorp's Twin Creeks.
