Turbine Fitters - shutdown Apply Now angle-right
Our Asset Services division is currently seeking experienced Turbine Fitters for a shutdown commencing early May 2021. The duration of the shutdown will be between 3 - 5 weeks located in Osborne, South Australia 30 minutes north west of Adelaide. The roles are offered on a DIDO basis with meals, flights (if not based in South Australia) and accommodation all included, working 6 days on 1 day off (11 hours shifts) either days or nights.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Turbomachinery maintenance and alignment (Coupling Rotors, alignment check, shifting casings)
• Inspections and overhauls of Steam and Gas Turbines including inspection and replacement of new and refurbished parts
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery following Inspection and Test Plans, recording relevant data and raising issues to field engineer.

ABOUT YOU

• Trade Fitter Certificate with experience in turbine maintenance preferably for a power station or energy project.
• Current Driver's licence, High Risk Work Licence and Construction Induction White/Blue Card
• Previous experience working within a high-pressure maintenance environment and knowledge in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.
