About Our Client:
Our client is a large-scale Engineering Construction services provider for resource operations across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific. Specializing in fabrication, installations, project management and shut down maintenance services.
About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking experienced trade assistants based in Townsville to commence immediately. You will be experienced in providing high quality assistance to tradesman and a demonstrated safety focussed attitude. This position will see you supporting Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and Pipe Fitters on this major project site. As a successful candidate you will be engaged through WorkPac on a 3-month contract following a Monday â Saturday roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focused and committed to upholding all safety standards and procedures
  
• Assisting various trade disciplines in tasks as required
  
• Working on large scale structural steel repairs
  
• Comply with all site and client policyâs
  
• Working in Confined spaces
  
• Working at Heights
  

Skills and Experience:

• Current Drivers Licence
  
• Right to Work â Australia
  
• Current Working at Heights â Essential requirement
  
• Current Confined Spaces â Essential requirement
  
• Must have prior experience in a similar role â Steel work
  
• Ability to complete Pre-employment medical
  
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
