Job description
Our client is a large-scale Engineering Construction services provider for resource operations across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific. Specializing in fabrication, installations, project management and shut down maintenance services.
About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking experienced trade assistants based in Townsville to commence immediately. You will be experienced in providing high quality assistance to tradesman and a demonstrated safety focussed attitude. This position will see you supporting Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters and Pipe Fitters on this major project site. As a successful candidate you will be engaged through WorkPac on a 3-month contract following a Monday â Saturday roster.

- Focused and committed to upholding all safety standards and procedures
- Assisting various trade disciplines in tasks as required
- Working on large scale structural steel repairs
- Comply with all site and client policyâs
- Working in Confined spaces
- Working at Heights
- Current Drivers Licence
- Right to Work â Australia
- Current Working at Heights â Essential requirement
- Current Confined Spaces â Essential requirement
- Must have prior experience in a similar role â Steel work
- Ability to complete Pre-employment medical
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
