The DM Roads business provides a range of services in road network management. We assist road and intelligent transport systems (ITS) asset owners to extract maximum value from their assets and provide road networks that meet the demand of today's ever-changing environment. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road.
We are seeking to appoint a Works Scheduler/Supervisor who will be responsible for the planning, delivery and performance of Routine Maintenance programs, whilst ensuring compliance with the specific project outcomes, specifications, program, environmental, safety and budgetary requirements.

We are seeking to appoint a Works Scheduler/Supervisor who will be responsible for the planning, delivery and performance of Routine Maintenance programs, whilst ensuring compliance with the specific project outcomes, specifications, program, environmental, safety and budgetary requirements.
About the role
- Co-ordinates and manages works delivered by internal and external contract resources.
- Oversee maintenance work methods, performance and implement corrective actions for efficient utilisation of plant and labour.
- Manage the scheduling and development, budgeting and estimating, quality plan and works documentation preparation and procurement planning for all pavement and asphalt worked.
- Monitor delivery performance, reporting on compliance to progress, budgets, timeliness, quality plans and project / program objectives.
- Utilise network condition data to develop strong periodic maintenance plans to consider best practice and allow for optimum network condition within budget.
About you
- Demonstrable and successful experience in a supervisory role gained at similar level.
- Ability to review and develop new processes and streamline transactional activities.
- Maintenance planning, organisational and time management.
- Ability to contribute to the preparation of operational budgets and review financial information.
- Experience in researching and understanding road maintenance information.
- Working knowledge and understanding of OH&S and employee relations legislation.
- Substantial experience in the road maintenance industry (desirable).
- Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills with skills in financial planning and budgeting skills.
- Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and in house systems.
