Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Document Controller/Document Manager to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Develop project specific procedures, processes and guidelines
  • Develop deliver and manage training of EDMS and associated tools
  • Interface with all project groups, key stakeholders, the Client and other external users to ensure the EDMS functionality is meeting needs
  • Provide support in multidiscipline, large scale projects vendor data management
  • Coordination and reporting on project status and handover
  • Review document control processes and provide quality assurance
  • Prepare routine documents using standard word processing, spreadsheets, or other office software as needed to support work activities.


You will bring to the role;

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to clearly communicate to immediate team, peers, key stakeholders, the Client and other external parties
  • High level of technology awareness and business systems support experience Ability to resolve conflicts and prioritize and delegate tasks
  • Experience in building and managing teams in various locations and delegating as required
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced skills and experience in using Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at a time including facilitating training, presenting and/or one on one training
  • Previous experience on all project phases from concept studies to EPCM engagements
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements of tracking vendor data and engineering processes and how these interrelate with other areas of project activity
  • EDMS experience in Livelink, Aconex and Sharepoint, Projectwise, TeamBinder
  • Must be able to travel to site and remote offices as required.
