Exciting times are ahead in our Gisborne team with projects from both NOC contracts and more projects coming in across the Gisborne region we are on the hunt for Contract Engineers to assist our teams with managing projects, carpenters, subcontractors and drainage.

About this role
This role will see you delivering projects which include but are not limited to; contract requirements, optimization of resource use and achieving target results to the client's satisfaction, on time and within budget. You will also help with developing a strong and motivated team with an eye on health and safety whilst also ensuring stakeholder relationships are enhanced, or built within area and surrounding local councils.

Ultimately you will be responsible for delivery, delivery, delivery!

About you
Bring your proven willingness and capability to learn and couple it with your previous experience in civil construction (at least two years) or a tertiary qualification and were keen to see your application. Other things you need to bring to this role will include you:
  • Holding a full current driver's licence
  • Having excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Bringing strong interpersonal skills - for all internal and external customers
  • Having a positive attitude and commitment to providing a high quality of service
