About the role

We are looking for a Superintendent Mine & Crusher Operations in Boron CA. This role will be accountable for all execution of blasting, loading operations, haulage, and ancillary work. With a large skilled team this role will lean on experienced leaders with operational backgrounds.

This role is a great opportunity to implement your leadership skills and refine your business acumen while focusing on safe operations, upskilling employees, and executing a plan to deliver on time cost effective solutions. Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will be:
  • Providing leadership to a team of supervisors and skilled hourly employees actively and visibly setting the standard for safety, behaviors, and performance.
  • Ensuring industry leading safety performance and operational practices
  • Coaching and developing a diverse group of employees
  • Delivering against a large yearly operational budget.
  • Refining and improving the existing operational practices to take us into the future.
  • Participate in operational risk assessments and the development of procedures for operations
  • Undertake regular inspection of works to ensure that all standards, policies and procedures are complied with in the functional area.

  • 10+ years mining operations experience.
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
