Compactor Operator

About Our Client
Our client is a Medium Civil Infrastructure and Land Development company based in North Brisbane who are partnered with WorkPac, they are currently seeking an experienced Compactor Operator to commence immediately.
About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Compactor Operator for a project that has recently commenced on the north side of Brisbane. This opportunity will be Monday - Friday with minimum 8 hours per day, between 6:45am and 5:00pm. The successful applicants will have an extensive background throughout the Civil industry and worked on both Sub-divisions and road upgrades projects. The role will include operating compactor on a civil site where the terrain will be steep and require the operator to work around various plant items.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating the Compactor
  
• Operating around ground crew and other machinery
  
• Radio communication
  
• Maintaining high safety standards
  
• Assisting with labouring duties where required
  

Skill & Experience

• MUST have Current Construction Card
  
• MUST have Compactor Ticket
  
• Minimum two years experience in a similar role
  
• Proven experience and understanding of a Civil site is essential
  
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
  

• Current resume with 2x work related referees
  
• Available to commence immediately
