About the Role
Our Client, a Leading Fire and Security Company are seeking a Sprinkler Fitter, based at Tarong.
The successful candidate would need to live in the South Burnett area or be willing to relocate. You would work across high profile Industrial sites and facilities across the Tarong region as well as some South Burnett sites.
The role will be responsible for servicing, installing and commissioning fire protection systems, and delivering excellent results and customer experience.
This is Permanent Full time role with Immediate commencement with our Client. If you value onsite relationships and are excited by working with multiple important stakeholders, this is the role for you.
In this role you will have the opportunity for Career Development, independence and the opportunity to completely own your role.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Installing, diagnosing, servicing, repairing and carrying out minor works on fire protection systems and equipment to our Client's standards of quality and delivery
  • Maintaining excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity
  • Potential for Breakdown or On Call related work
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including; i-Service hand held technology
  • Stock and inventory management
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years Experience as a qualified Sprinkler Fitter. (QBCC Licence & Electrical Licence)
  • Up to date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information
  • A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment
  • Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure.
  • A technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete identified company, industry and occupational training and accreditation and Drivers Licence, White Card
