Our Red Chris mine is located on the traditional territory of the Tahltan and we encourage qualified applicants from the local communities to apply. We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, and Smithers.

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a surveyor to provide support to the Mine Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Surveyor you will be a key communicator between the Technical Services and Mine Operations teams. Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and maintain daily sketches, maps, and reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted in the field
  • Field redesign as necessary.
  • Maintain daily markup of all contacts and blast Patterns in the pits.
  • Design & markup of special projects (Roads, Pipelines etc)

The successful candidate be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills. Additionally, you will have:
  • A Grade 12 Diploma
  • Post-Secondary education in Survey related fields is preferred
  • Experience within Mining Operations is required
  • Working knowledge of Minesite 3D is required.
  • Working knowledge of MineStar, AutoCAD 3D, and ArcGIS is considered an asset
  • A Valid driver's license is required
