Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Site Services Electrician to join our team. Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Facilities Electrician at our Goldstrike operations. As part of the Maintenance team, the successful candidate will be a team player adding to our already challenging yet rewarding working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and mining. Responsibilities:

• Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical equipment and systems. Utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  
• Performs general maintenance duties
  
• Work on projects throughout the entire facility running conduit, pulling wire and connecting devices, using lifts and ladders.
• Perform equipment repairs and similar duties that require no oversight or direction.
• Uses complex electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot and correct problems.
• Displays positive attitudes and practices good work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician required
• Knowledge in using hand tools, electrical meter, and testing equipment required
• Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book required
• Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC required
• Experience with High Voltage overhead systems preferred
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting of motor controls, drives, and electronic components required
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics preferred
• Ability to install electrical equipment and circuit modification preferred
• Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft. high required
