About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking anÂexperienced Document Controller based within the Perth CBDÂfor an immediate start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster, 8 months in duration withÂcompetitive rates available for the successful applicant. Please note travel to the Pilbara will be required on an ongoing, quarterly basis. On the job training based in Karratha will be provided in the first month for the successfulÂapplicantÂ
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain document systems such as FDMS, Rail HSEQ, TIKS, Blackberry Workspaces
  • Coordinate and maintain the document management processes for the Railways Division
  • Liaise with and assist stakeholders and personnel on document and compliance matters and associated tools
  • Promote Rail Governance services, driving the importance of best practice for document management
  • Provide support and ongoing engagement with Rail Division departments and personnel to ensure compliance goals and processes are understood and appliedÂ
  • Apply continuous improvement methods and technologies/systems with respect to Rail controlled document content and processes
  • Assist internal and external bodies with audit functions to demonstrate compliance
  • Ensure that Rail Governance processes and systems comply with regulatory requirements
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 Yearsâ Experience within Document Control and Information Management within a Mining, Resource or Heavy Industrial Environment
  • Applicable Tertiary Qualifications - Highly Regarded
  • Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport
  • Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
