We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, Calgary and Smithers.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a surveyor to provide survey support to the mine operations team, on a eight-month temporary contract. Reporting to the Chief Surveyor, responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare and maintain daily sketches, maps, and reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted in the field
  • Field redesign as necessary.
  • Maintain daily markup of all contacts and blast Patterns in the pits.
  • Design & markup of special projects (Roads, Pipelines etc.)
  • Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and clients, and others concerned with the project.

Skills and Experience for the role required for the role include the following:
  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Post-Secondary education in Survey related fields is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Minesite 3D is required.
  • Working knowledge of MineStar, AutoCAD 3D, ArcGIS and Microsoft Office is considered an asset, as is experience in Mining Operations.
  • A team player that works well with others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • A Valid driver's license is required
