Superintendent - Non-Processing Infrastructure

Work location: Solomon

Roster: 4 days on and 3 days off, FIFO ex: Perth

You will be responsible for the safety, leadership and output of a large multi-discipline team that delivers critical services across an operational mine site. As a strong safety leader, experienced in continual improvement and development of culture, work-management and safety you will form part of the broader Utilities team.

Key accountabilities:

  • Strong safety leadership and role models
  • Managing the site teams performance
  • Customer focused
  • Ensure compliance to plan and support of the planning function
  • Performance management and mentoring of site personnel
  • Managing the sites budget in line with forecast
  • Monthly cost reviews reporting on actual v's budget

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Front Line Management or other Leadership Qualification
  • Cert 3 Trade Certificate and/or degree qualified
  • Extensive experience leading large teams of multiple trade/operations disciplines
  • Strong safety leader with experience in incident investigation, ICAM qualified would be considered a bonus
  • Strong peer relationship building is essential
  • Cost focused with experience in managing a budget
  • Customer focused
  • Understanding of SAP would be beneficial
