As a result of a brownfield project expansion, we are seeking a Senior Planner to support our growing team in Tom Price.

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the maintenance team, you will be:
  • Leading a mid-sized team of Planners and Schedulers
  • Optimising the planning process by reviewing our current systems and working with site operations teams
  • Working across multiple teams to manage purchasing requirements, work orders and manage invoicing.
  • Ensuring labour and shared resources are correct to safely execute SoW.
  • Working closely with the short-term planners and shut execution team, managing meetings and communicating constraints and opportunities.
  • Generating achievable Gantt's and ensuring labour is correct for shut teams to safely execute.
  • Reviewing and communicating maintenance plan changes required to planning team
  • Designing and implement personal and professional development program for your team to build and continuously improve capability, flexibility and skill set diversity.

What you'll bring
  • Demonstrated skills in planning within the resources industry
  • Experience with zero based budgeting and data analytics would be advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and key stakeholders
  • Capable of operating in a face paced and dynamic working environment with the ability to multi-task priorities
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office including Project and Excel
  • Extensive SAP knowledge highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar planning position with a focus on shutdown
  • Strong experience in work management process

Where you'll be working

Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities
