A developing and well financed operator with assets thriving thanks to backing from a multinational business requires a Mining Engineer - Ventilation to provide expertise and technical input to the Technical Services department.

 

Working alongside the technical services and mining team you will be asked to complete project work and investigations into specific issues or improvement opportunities.

 

Skills and Experience required includes:

  • Experience working an underground mine in an operational or technical role
  • The skills to work in a team environment and manage your own time and workload, while building strong inter-departmental relationships
  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office products and Outlook, with the ability to prepare presentations and reports of work completed
  • Experience in mine ventilation and/or any exposure to mine ventilation design software would be highly advantageous
  • A relevant qualification (ventilation, engineering or similar) will be highly regarded

 

This Mining Engineer - Ventilation role will require relocation and will work on a 5/2 roster.
