About the Role
In this role, you will be assisting the Rail Signalling Team to maintain the Rio Tinto Railways Division Train Control Signalling System and related communications to support the efficient operation of the railway and monitoring of its assets in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.

About the Role
In this role, you will be assisting the Rail Signalling Team to maintain the Rio Tinto Railways Division Train Control Signalling System and related communications to support the efficient operation of the railway and monitoring of its assets in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Assist qualified Signalling Technicians to efficiently carry out planned maintenance and inspections of train control signalling and associated communications to provide safe and reliable operation of the railway.
- Assist the Signalling Technicians with fault rectification in timely manner to minimise production delays.
- Communicate regularly with Train Control, Rail operations, RSM and Engineering Support regarding the signalling system performance.
- Assisting with transport of team members around the rail network
- Manual C Class Drivers Licence
- Be fit and able to work in a hot working environment
- Australian Rights to work
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position is highly regarded however not essential
