About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Project Management Support Officer based within Nerang, Gold Coast for an immediate start. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster until August 2021 with competitive hourly rates available for the successful applicant.
Please note you would be required to obtain a criminal history check if successful.
Duties will Include:
  • Provide confidential, high level administrative support management and project teams for RoadTek and communicate with departmental officers and construction industry representatives in a professional manner.
  • Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the Operational Unit teams. Including preparation and distribution of project and other documentation, project document control, supervision and maintenance of the Operational Unit's document management system.
  • This role is required to provide timely and accurate preparation of reports, business cases, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and creation of presentations as required. This role will require well developed skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Assist in preparation of HR forms and submissions as required by the business.
  • Coordinate and arrange Operational Unit related meetings and events. Organise venues and catering and provide high level administrative support to team meetings and organised events as required, including minute taking, distribution of meeting notes and the preparation and dissemination of agendas, minutes and reports etc.
  • Assist in the collation of data for completion of reports as required.
  • Participate in operational plan activities and project work as required.
  • Assist in coordination of training and development activities for project and administrative staff as required.
  • Acts in accordance with the QPS legislative framework and Code of Conduct. Models ethical behaviour and consistently applies those ethical standards to self and others.
  • Commitment to Transport and Main Roadsâ Workplace Health & Safety Policy of achieving a Zero Harm workplace.
Skills & Experience
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Windows 10) including Outlook, Skype for Business, Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in minute taking desirable, with good level of typing proficiency.
  • Highly organised and able to manage time well and able to work flexibly without supervision.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Prior experience with SAP advantageous.
  • Previous experience or an interest in HR practice and processes is desirable.
  • Records Management experience desirable.
  • Current C Class Driver's License or Transport
  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
